Identifying your learning and training options
Learning new skills or retraining can improve your chances of getting back to work. It's a good idea to explore your options — including learning through college or university, volunteering or on-the-job training — with a local learning provider.
Start with Skills Development Scotland
There may be funding available for courses which could help you get back into work. Funding can include payments towards course fees, a grant or a loan. The support that's available to you will depend on your individual circumstances and education history as well as the type of course you're hoping to do.
